Everything is going amazing on my part...school, work, family, friends, girlfriend whos name is"..."(I'll tell one of these days, don't you worry. I just want to get some pics to put with the name).

I'm looking forward to the sat. after Thanksgiving, when we all go up to Kiabab mountain. Its been a long waited two years since I've been and so it will be loads of fun to see every one up there again. I can't wait...

Long time No see!

Hmmmmmmmmm...Were do I start. its been a long time since I have posted anything on here. well I guess I could start by saying even though I haven't blogged in a while I still have gone to others and checked out what everyone has been doing...and I love looking at every ones pictures and reading what you all say...this has been a real treat to have so many of our family blogging like this.

OK! So know where I am going to start with my this post...For starters, to let you know I am going to Dixie State for school now, yes I am having loads of fun...I have Two jobs. I work for Washington County School District and Diamond Ranch Academy as their Computer Technicians. I love the two Jobs.

I have Two Callings; I am the Assistant Deacons Quarom Leader, and I also go out to Diamond Ranch Academy and help cooridinate the Sacrament Meetings with Arthur LeBaron. We have a good time out there. the kids are amazing out at DRA.

I am in the Institute Chior. We have loads of fun in our practices, but most of all have fun when we perform...we've performed a couple of times now but we do have a performance coming up this week on wednesday at the Tabernacle in St. George...I am looking forward to that. any one can come, its at 7.

For those of you who don't know this either, I am dating now to...

any ways, now that I have taking a part of your day away...go out and have fun. But do come back for more...I'll have pics up the next time you get on, I hope.

My inpute on the family campout

well I'm sure you have already looked at Natalies and Annies blogs and so you have seen these pictures but I wanted to post a couple of our camping pics. so here is goes. I thought these two were great and I know no one got them.

This was the fire pit that we built up. there was only one layer of rocks but we built it up so our fire could be really big. it turned very nice and did all that we wanted it to. we had some really good nights around the fire.
This was a good one of Lillie. she got the go-gurt all over her. it was cute. the Kids had fun all together. these camping trips have really brought the family together and gave us a way to build up our friendships.

Here we went to the Rose Garden and got to chill and enjoy the wonderful views of Portland. we had tons of places like this one that we got to enjoy and see how beautiful this place really is.

I'm still looking forward to meeting everyone again.

I failed to mention that on the 29th for my homecoming our ward starts at 9 in the morning. I didn't want anyone coming to the wrong ward. I will also being reporting in the sixteenth ward on the thirteenth of July at eleven.
I love you all and can't wait to see every one.

I am home now.......yay. I am so excited and now I get to see every one again. I am looking forward to the family get togethers.

what a fine week it has been. so much going on. we set a baptismal date with one of our investigator this week and we are excited for her enthusiasm towards the invitation. she has really shown her desire a little bit more than before. I am very excited for the work that is going on right now. the wards are really helping out with what they can in getting the missionary work to move forward. Elder DeVaney and I get along great and we have learned a lot together. we have been so busy with teaching and office work that when our heads hit the bed, we fall asleep in a matter of minutes. I look foward to what the next few weeks bring in missionary work. I love being here and I am going to miss this most amazing work that we get to be a part of. even though I have like 28 days left.....sad huh. Well Mothers Day is coming up and I want to wish all the Mothers in my family a Happy Mothers Day.

Elder Ipson

we have been doing great with the members and are now getting a feel for the groove in the reedville ward. the work that we have been doing has been amazing. well we have been the tools for Gods work, which work has been amazing. I have been very excited with the work and pray continualy that it may stay busy like it has. Elder DeVaney and I have been so busy that we have had very little time to set down and have a normal sit down lunch. most of our lunches have been in the truck on the road. but I love those kind of days because it gives me no time what-so-ever to be trunky.
My birthday was very long, very very long. we moved out some missionaries.....closed down an apartment, and it took us about 8 hours to do. I had to use about 19 dollars to dump stuff at the landfill because we couldn't fit it all in the trailor. we dumped about 380 pounds of stuff. I had dinner at a members house who gave me a cake and the family sang happy birthday to me. that was probably the best birthday gift I had received from any one out here. But Happy Bithday to me, to me, to me.
Our investigators are coming along well to. we have been teaching tons and everytime we teach we feel like we learn much more about the princeples of the gospel. I truly have gained a stronger Testimony that Jesus Christ is the Lord and our Redeemer. He loves us and comforts us when we seek him. I truly know this and that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is True.

we had transfers today and I am now officially in my last area of the mission. I didn't transfer and I won't be transferring again accept to come home. can you believe that I only have about 40 days left in the mission field. Its a bitter sweet feeling that I have about going home. I am excited but I am sad that I am leaving all my newly found friends. My new companions name is Elder Devaney. I know him from previous areas but I don't know much about him personaly yet. I am still covering Rock Creek ward but not Oak Hills, they switched it so I am now covering Reedville ward again. I am sad and happy about that. not much is going on in Reedville but I made some good friends there the last time I was there. I am ready to take on new challenges with this new transfer, and I am also excited because I am continueing to build my testimony every day. I know that God Lives and Loves me and you. Same with Our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. I love you all Love Trent

We have had so many things going on these past few weeks. As a mission this is what our numbers look like....We had 16 baptisms last week...and we have 84 with a baptismal date...! :) That means that we added 11 dates during the week. And please take note that 16+84=100...!!!! how good does that look. we are setting records that this mission has ever seen in the past like 4-5 plus years. I am excited for the work. I have never been so busy on my mission like now....Office work.....and Two wards to teach about 5 or 6 non members and less active members in each ward. I would have to say that these are the most (Interesting) "BEST" Two years. So I was looking at my "Trunky Calendar" and have found out that I have about 50 days left in the mission. I don't usually look at it because it makes me TRUNKY but I check it out every couple of weeks. I sometimes catch myself wishing more days would appear on it so I could stay longer......;) no, I am excited to come home and be with everyone again. Today we taught a comparitive World Religion class that had about 20 + non members and we got to teach them all about our Church and our beliefs. we had about an hour have Q & A time as well and that was tons of fun. we handed out a few BOMS and some literature about the Beliefs of us Mormons. true doctrine only. because false doctrine is what we do not believe in. well all in all it was fun to talk to all the students and help them understand what we believe. I want to thank every one for their support in missionary work....Elder Bednar put it the best....Missionaries are full time teachers and the members are full time Finders. I have some pics to upload but I will do that another time.

Wells things are doing great in the OPM. This mission is on fire. we have been setting all time highs in this mission. well since it has been shrunk down to the size it is. we have 89 investigators with baptismal dates, 89 can you believe that? we had sixteen baptisms a couple of weeks ago and it hasn't stopped there. it just keeps getting better, I am going to really miss the Mission after I leave:(
I have never worked so hard in my mission like I have been lately. the office work is actually pretty easy, but its covering two wards at the same time that makes it pretty hard. we had three baptisms two weeks ago and we are working with about 9 other investigators of which we will be setting baptismal dates with in the next week or so. I know baptisms don't set the mood for a good missionary, because I have had companions that have had tons of baptisms and were pretty crappy missionaries, but I never thought I would see so many baptisms in my life, or at liest on my mission from me helping to bring the spirit into their lives. the church is true:)
I sure enjoyed conference, seeing President Monson up there and listening to him assured me that the mantle of the Prophet did rest upon his shoulders. I am looking forward to following him for the next several years.
I hope every one is well, and know that I love all of you.

I'm back

we had our baptisms on saturday and they went very well, the spirit was very strong there. we have seen the Warner Family come along ways and I have really enjoyed watching there testimonies grow.I have a strong testimony that the Lord does work in mysterious ways, I have seen his hand in the conversion of the Warner Family. These last few weeks I have been reading the new Ensigns for my personal study and I would have to say that I have seen so much growth in the church, I then have been pondering the great work that Joseph Smith had done while he was alive. the comparison from then to now just gives an added testimony that this is the true church of Jesus Christ, and the God has his hand in all of the work that goes on every single day. I really am so happy for the Life that I have and the experiences that I have experienced, even at the young age I am still at. I look foward to my many years to come of service in the church and community.

I really have been enjoying my new area. we have so much going on it isn't even funny any more. we are all over the mission almost every day. we have been driving so much. since I have been here we have gone over 400 miles in 5 to 6 days. yesterday we were in beaverton, and lake oswego and portland. busy as ever. even with all this driving around we have had enough time to teach, we taught seminary for the last few days it has been fun. I do all the mission dirty work. I move missionaries, I also take stuff to them, and when they cry and complain to us about old beds or washers and dryers that don't work, and expect us to do all the work, it gets old. Its because they are lazy and don't want to try and find someone in their ward that would be more capable than us because we are always gone and busy. like the last 3 days. we in the last 3 days have taught over 9 lessons 3 of which are to investigators. and one of those investigators has accepted to be baptized and has set a date. exciting news....I love this work except when we hear missionaries complain because they can't do things for themselves. I love valentines, but to bad I am not home to take ANY ONE out huh! JK! next year right. the rain just does not stop.....but thats ok, because I still like it, I haven't gotten sick of it yet. I don't know if I will get sick of it. but I would like some snow. we just don't get enough of it here. maybe I'll move to northern UT, that way I can get all the snow I want.....or maybe not. I have a new comp now. He is a pretty sweet kid. we are having fun together and really getting a lot done together. he was the type of missionary that I needed. I love you tons.

well it really does get better every day. I love being a missionary and not only seeing things happen in my own efforts but seeing other Missionaries succeed at what we do best. we have 3 baptisms in our district in the next couple of weeks, and we are hoping to set a date ourselves. if I could say one thing it would be live with out regrets......do all you can to live a happy life and don't turn yourself down. we have had a great new year so far and it just keeps getting better and better......we have more people to work with and I am getting closer and closer to coming home. sorry to Elder Spendlove and Soon to Be Elder Leavitt. I miss you and Can't wait to see you all when you come home from your missions. I know that this is the place to be and the time to be doing this......I truly have seen a miracle happen.....Me. I have stayed when I wanted to come home. I have truly found who I am and what I want to do......thanks to the many prayers from the family.

Things have been great here in Portland. I have really enjoyed the time here and all the experiences that I get. I have been really busy the last couple of weeks with teaching people. we have been teaching this young girl who committed to baptism. she committed on news years day. we have been teaching a bunch of people and I can tell you I have felt the spirit more now than I ever have....it is the greatest thing to ever have and to always have it with you. we had fun during christmas. we went to our ward mission leaders home and celebrated it with him. we started the day off by sleeping in and then going over to his house. we gave service by helping him build a dog run for his two dogs....we didn't finish it on christmas, we came back the next day and finished it. it was fun talking to my family about the afternoonish time. talked to all of my brothers and sisters and every one else there. its to bad I can't call friends huh. my companion and I both got pretty sick during the Holidays and I'm still feeling the after affects pretty baddly. the weather has been rainy lately
