Christmas trees
This past saturday was a fun day we as a family went to kiabab mountain to get christmas trees. Even though we didn't get a tree it was a nice outing to the snowy mountains. Seeing the family and some old friends. As soon as I get the pictures uploaded I will post a couple pictures of tanner driving with grandpa. He is such a cutie.

Hospital
Well we had a pretty good stay while we were at the hospital, the nurses were very nice and our doctors and pediatricians were amazing to. It was fun having family come and visit with us, Tanner got to meet Grandma Susan Blake and Grandma and Grandpa Ipson, and even a couple of his Aunts. We have such an amazing family. Grandma Blake is staying with us while she is here.
Of course everyone who has children know how tiring it can be and exhausting…these pictures just show how beautiful Tanner is and how loved he is…I got to do a lot of the pictures except for the two that were of me. but I sure did enjoy being able to be there and support my lovely wife in all that she did in preparation for this miraculous event.

Baby update
Well, here I am Aug 19, 2010, 5:21 in the morning listening to my little boys heart beat in his mommies tummy. at approximately 1:30ish Dani's water broke so we called the hospital and they told us to come in to make sure that it was just that. We went in and had some tests done to make sure that it was her water breaking not anything else and check to see if she was having any contractions...sure enough both tests came out positive so they told us that we would be staying (we were emitted) and Dani was hooked up to an IV because she tested positive for strep b(something that can be Harmful to Tanner. The IV is suppose to help lower the risk of anything passing to Tanner during the Labor.

| Dani just might kill me for putting this on here, but all well. |
Leslie is our nurse right at the moment and her tech is Kamille, but soon at six we will be having a shift change and getting a new crew of nurses in.
At this point in time Dani's mom is driving down here to be with us during this time, and at the same time Dani's Contractions have sped up to about every three minutes and have been pretty consistent in strength and timing. She is a trooper, all women who have baby's are amazing. that's a lot of pain you go through. I am especially grateful for my wife and all she does for me. She is AMAZING!!!! and I can't wait to be a parent with her.
For most of you who don't know we are having a BOY!!! and we are naming him Tanner Blake Ipson.
What a Journey it has been over the last nine months. First we start out by going to the ER because of the pain that Dani went through and come to find out not only were we then reaffirmed that she was pregnant but the pain was from a cyst. we had thought from the beginning that it may have been a tubal pregnancy but thankfully it was not. but now we are just getting through next the rough part of the actual labor.
I'll post more later when more news comes.

Where to start?
Ok so I know its been a long time since I have updated anybody on our recent activities and because its been so long I don’t know where to start…I have been trying to get Dani to take over and do this but it hasn’t worked yet. I wont give up though I promise. some day she will be the blogger not me.
I guess technically I could start back to May 30th. This is the day that Dani and I got married and sealed for all Time and Eternity in the St. George Temple. I was very happy to see everybody in the family that came and supported us there, and I did miss those that couldn’t make it. I can understand because I can’t always make it either. We moved into an apartment complex outside of Santa Clara where we could be a little closer to school and work for me. We love it here. its a two bedroom two bathroom apartment with lots of space. that first week together we went to Las Vegas for our Honeymoon thanks to my family in putting the Honeymoon package together. we had a great time even though it did end up getting cut short. On Thursday I had to get to work at my new job. I started working for Landmark Testing and Engineering as a Surveyor where I worked on getting test sites for the soil testers at the new St. George Replacement Airport. I also still worked at Diamond Ranch Academy at the time for extra cash to take of our needs.
Over the past year of our marriage it seems like all we were able to do was go to school and work, but I’ll be honest we did get out a little bit. we got to enjoy our first 4th of July with Dani’s sister Angie up in Richfield…that was a lot of fun and we went to the parade in Salina where we ended up having a BBQ with her dad.
We went to her brother Matt’s house for a few days where we attended her nephews Baptism, what a trip that was. They live in Logan and we didn’t get there until after midnight. But the trip was well worth it. being with family is always worth the trip. While up there Dani’s dad came up and we got to go Geo Cashing which was actually my second time so it was still new to me. we drove all over Logan looking for Geo Cash. we found I think four or five places and every one had something there. it was quite the treat for the kids.
In September I quit working for Diamond Ranch Academy and started working full time for Landmark which was really good. that meant that I didn’t have to travel to Hurricane for work.
In December Dani had been having some complications which was not fun. She had lots of pain and it was getting any better, we had an inkling that she might be pregnant. and yes I just said pregnant. we kind of started trying, we figured if we get pregnant than its time but if not then all well the Lord will bless us in time. she took a pregnancy test and it came positive but this only started to perk our interests in why she was having pain. But if you Dani she is stubborn and wouldn’t go to the doctor until one night I just flat out made her go… thank goodness we did. The doctors gave us some good news and bad news. the good news we were pregnant, the bad news it could be tubal pregnancy. so a week later we went to a different doctor to see if we could get a better answer. Our doctor, Doctor Benhum confirmed that it was indeed a good pregnancy and that the pain was actually just a cist. whew lucky us, sad that its causing pain but lucky that all it is, is just a cist. he explained that it will grow more but over time will also go down in size but will could remain there for the duration of the pregnancy. we also found out that our due date will be August 25.
April, this month we found out the Gender of our baby which is a BOY! I am very excited, what a great way to start your family as a father than to have a boy. We had been thinking for some time about what name to give him. The name we felt best about and enjoyed the most is Tanner Blake Ipson. Sorry to all those that wanted that name but we got to it first.
Dani is still working at Coral Cliffs Cinema 8 and she is one of the managers there and no she can’t get you in for free because she is family. but she sure has enjoyed it. I am now working for Interstate Rock Products Inc.
well, I need to get to bed so I well continue updating you in our next post.
love you all.
