AMAZING!

The Rose Gardens are very beautiful.
what an amazing week we had. we have taught so many lessons it is unbelievable. you the Lord really does work out our lifes to who we need to be. I am suprised to see all the things that have changed in my life because of what the Lord has done for me. we have taught the Plan of Salvation like 5 times this week and it stands out more and more every time I teach it. you all should really take the time and study it out of preach my gospel. it is a wonderful message and I know that as you do read over it you will become so much stronger in your testimony of the love your Father in Heaven has for you. I promise you that. Scipture of the week: John 5:17

wowsers

this is from our ward talent show.
me being me. sorry its upside down.

time sure does fly by. last week felt like it was this week. we had some great successes. thus far this week we have found six new investigators and we have taught over 5 Less Actives, 3 Investigators and even cooler than that we have set a soft baptismal commitment with one of our new Investigators how crazy is that. I am so excited for the work to be moving like it is. Thanks giving was a blast. our dinner was amazing. we had dinner with this guy how can play the guitar and sing like nothing else. we really had a great time. we also got to play soccer in the morning which was a lot of fun I really enjoyed it. we played with a bunch of other missionaries. I really cannot wait to see what is to come forth in the next couple of weeks with our new investigators and what we have to do for them. scripture of the week. Alma 26 and 27........you'll love it I know it.....well the Lord has strengthened me once again and I know he will continue to do so. I love this work and know that what is being done is the Lords hands over working with us to further his work.
love Trent

HEY!

we got to go to the zoo one P-day it was a blast.
this water park is in downtown portland my previous area.

well it has been another wonderful week and I have really been enjoying the meetings and appointments we have had this week. we have had two zone trainings. one in Beaverton and the other was in Milwaukie, one of my past areas. that was alot of fun...I went with one of the missionaries that came out with me from the MTC. Elder Holman who is from Ceder City. I really enjoy getting to go see past areas because it brings back such great memories of what I ahve done and the joy I had in those areas. 29 weeks;)

Another week bites the dust.

Well another week bites the dust for sure. I have 30 weeks left and "no one is counting" I have so enjoyed being out here on my mission. I have seen so many changes in my life it isn't even funny. I have really gotten to be apart of a great work that will continue going for the rest the days of life. OK, Story time. a couple of weeks ago I had held a special fast for a less active and his wife, for the reason of trying to find a way that we could talk with his wife, open her up and find out why she has concerns about he church. well that fast and prayer was answered and it opened my mind to the fact that the power of fasting and prayer really works. I have a strong testimony of it and am glad that it is apart of my life. we had transfers today and I stayed in Aloha 1st and picked up a new ward as well, Reedville. We will be in car as well so I get to have a car again. funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!! I lost some wonderful missionaries in my District. Sister Allen going home. Sister Myers transferring to a new area and my companion Elder Johnson getting transferred as well. I am going to miss all of them. I got really close with them and felt that the district was very close as well. the district is now only a four man district which will be a new thing for me. but I'll get over it soon. I love this work and will continue to work hard till I die.

its me again

hello again. well halloween was amazing. we spent the evening with some amazing converts. we played games all night and really enjoyed handing out candy to all the kids. we had a great spiritual talk with everyone. we talked about the most spiritual thing that has happened to us on our missions, oh ya the sister missionaries were with us. one of which came out with me, and is going home is 7 days. crazy. the family told us of their conversion and you can tell they have been converted. they have even gone to the Temple. I really enjoy listening to members and their conversions as well the Leaders of the church. I can't wait to do more when I get home and am with the family. so many stories to tell. we until next week I gotta save some souls. love you all tons.
