Callings

Hi everybody, I'm back. That was a short wait for more updates.
So a couple months ago while Dani and I were still in the ward we got a calling to be the bears leader in scouts, that was a blast. We had two boys, Christopher Bingham and Ethan Hirschi. During the couple months we got to do scouts we helped chris get his bears and make sure both boys were caught up with all there requirements. But lo and behold the ward got split and we no longer had the calling...as time went by it was nice not having to worry to much about callings but it got hard and boring so I knowing me I caught out the bishopric and asked them for a calling...ha ha can you guess how long it took to get us a calling...we were called that week and were given the calling as the CTR 7 teachers in primary. I'm excited, this will give me the chance to reinforce my testimony and a chance to teach with my wonderful wife. Right now we have 13 kids in the class which isn't that bad right now. Its a lot of fun. But soon we will have a split in the class and we will have two CTR 7 classes, I'll be honest I would prefer a big class but will be super happy with however it turns out to be.
Thats the new stuff in a nut shell...more pictures to come, I did say that in the last post.

Updates

Where oh where does the time go?....Out the Window!
It seems like it was just the other day Tanner came into our lives. Now he is turning 1. In the past few months Tanner has learned to crawl, and along with that climbing stairs (he could not get away from those stairs.) We are now teaching him how to go down the stairs which is going pretty good, but just recently took a tumble down them (that wasn't fun.) His favorite word for the longest time was "da da da," in which we interpret as dad dad dad. He then learned at nine months how to walk which it didn't take long after that to start running (now spend our time chasing him around the house and all over outside. If you couldn't tell he was a boy you should come play with him outdoors, its dirt, mud and cars for this little guy, and when I mean car he wants to be on the four wheeler because it moves and is fun to ride.
He has this Winnie the Pooh toy that he appsolutely loves, if we ever lost that it would be a sad sad day for us. He will play on that for hours pushing buttons having us push him around and honking the horn. Here is a video of Tanner playing on it. (don't mind the last couple of seconds he doesn't do much.)

He even loves walking on the treadmill with daddy when daddy goes for a run. haha it is the cutest thing ever.
85% of the time though Tanner is a Mommas' boy. I am so thankful for Dani and the great mom she is to Tanner. They play and run around together. It is fun watching Tanner play hide-and-go-seek with her. He know just were she is hiding so he goes to that spot everytime, and when she goes to get him he comes running to me to save me from her with this huge smile and wide bright eyes...Oh how fun it is to watch them play together.

Here is Mom and Tanner riding the wiggle racer together

Well there are other pictures and stories to tell but I need to get he pictures first before I can tell the stories. but I hope you enjoyed the update and hope to see you come again to the Ipson Trio blog.

Updates of the Family

We have such a cute kid, no really we do. check out these pics and video. (the benefit of having cameras on phones which is a modern miracle for families like mine.)

You just can't pull that unless you a little child. (this smile wins the heart over everytime.)
He stole Grandpas heart early, he knows how to work the system.
The grass is new to him. You can tell he likes it, look at the drool coming from him.
hmmm.
I can't believe that he is sitting up so well and how active he is. He is such a ball of energy.
and with this ball of energy and him now crawling we have our hands full...lets hope we will be able to keep up with him. not only is it fun watching him crawl for the first time, but its interesting that its for the paper, he loves the paper (if he can get a hold of it he will eat it) with the paper alone we have to watch him because he will have it all in his mouth right away.

Book of mormon challenge

Well, I committed to reading the Book of Mormon this year and started in January. Part way through the month I decided after hearing a stakes challenge, to read it in a month. So I set a goal to finish it by the end of February...that was one of my hardest goals to achieve. I wouldn't have finished it if it weren't for the mp3 player on my phone. Oh and I did miss my goal but only by one day and two hours.

Now I dont challenge others to do this in a month because some times life just won't allow for that much reading in a day for some. But I do challenge everybody who reads this to set out and read the Book of Mormon again this year starting as soon as you can. I know that by doing so you will be happier. Life will be more joyful, and much easier to handle when you start getting those lemons thrown at you. I can say that because it hasnt been an easy ride for me the past couple of months. But rest assured the Lord has been with me and is still with me as I struggle to make things work out for my family and I.

As I read the Book of Mormon again I found once again in my life to know that the words which our written in them our true. That they are brought to us by the spirit of the Lord. In and through these Holy Scriptures we can find God, and His love will over take us and strengthen us at all times.

After the fact "new years resolution"

"Exercise," what is it good for? Absolutely every thing!!! I haven't been much of an exerciser since my mission. Infact I think since my mission I have worked out a total of one months worth of days but very spread out over the past almost three years now. I am trying to turn over a new leaf and be better.

Since last week I have picked up to one hundred situps, and 14 pushups(That is super low for me but thats what I get for being lazy.) I've included planks and those I hate but alas I am getting much better at them. I started out with less than a minute holding a plank and now I am above a minute and a half.

I haven't included running yet but when I get a set schedule that includes work I will add running to my list of things to do. My goal is to get back up to my five plus miles again.
